What do you like about fosool Corban?

i must admit someone else pointed him out to me but, what i've read about him makes me think he's a good bet....
an expensive purchase, did well last time (although that was over 200 days ago) its hill's only ride at GL, and nothing else really pops out of the card for me....except maybe bullet man (been off the track for nearly a year and a half)

He was a she I think.. and I do the system that your man on sportslive has re these type of fav's in a race. favourite in a maiden 2nd time out after running with promise 1st time out that are less than 2/1 leave them alone.. it's pure negative ev.

and to be fair he's been proven right time and time again... as in the case with fosool.
hope i'm remembering the right race, right runner, right result. apologies if not.

maybe fosool was upset that i thought she was a he..:D, as it transpires i got the race completely wrong.. i'll have to keep that theory in mind, from now on.
i generally keep stakes to a minimum on aw racing dring the winter...

i think the key to it is the less than 2./1 part otherwise you're going to lose in the long run.. so many of them get turned over ...

I know he's a shade of odds on but there's no getting away from Tharawaat in the first at Navan. He's 5/6 willhill and 4/5 pp. He's a bet and doesn't fit into the maiden system (see thread) as that's only for the flat. This doesn't look like a hot maiden (though of course that could be incorrect) and it'd be a let down if he can't go in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 443 ✭✭rynners

4/6 with ladbrokes... guess 5/6 willhill is the choice..

if you make a nice profit why not put a little aside and join the syndicate.. gonna be more fun than you can shake a stick at.

Sainglend in the first at plumpton looks a similar bet to Tharawaat however I suggest it's not as there is a big danger in that race. same odds, more runners though,.

Follow the Dream, 3:55pm at Ludlow, nicely bred by Double Trigger whose stable have been known to have them ready first time out. Has been reported to be going well in training and might have an each way chance at a big price, Andrew Thornton's only ride today.
