Gmail Themes

Did anybody else's GMAIL online account just get a ninja-added new themes option under settings? There is a load of them. Just looking through now. Really nice improvement.

I dont think it's a plug-in or add-on.
Seems they are rolling it out to everyone over the next few days.

Yeah, it depends on location it seems, as when I tried changing my theme it asked where I was located before it could tell me if I could have the one I wanted.

I'm liking the Planets one.

From the Google Blog;

And just like that, they are gone again. I am on the ninja theme now and its working, but under settings there is no longer a themes tab!
Make yer mind up google!

Went for shiny too this morning. Only thing they could improve is the contrast between read and unread mails.

Terminal is weird, it's like you're using pine. Bet that was Mayer's idea

Sometimes it manifests as just a new gmail skin that's strangely blue and kind of annoying until you log out and back in. If you just have an always open gmail connection somewhere you may have to log out and back in again to get the themes option in settings. Either way it should be available to all soon.

Ninja theme still kicks all ass.

I likes the terminal one. I use linux in work....with a green terminal theme already. This bad boy should blend right in.

Yeh got this yesterday and selected Planets, don't know why but for a split second when I had to put in my location I was almost expecting something incredible like the view of the sky from Dublin! Not to be, stupid Jupiter!
