We don't do it to say "I've arrived" but because users have stepped out of line. And I would hope that none of the regular users would go about "testing" mod limits.

No doubt you're on this forum a lot longer than I have so it would be chronologically absurd for me to say welcome just because the sentiment feels right, that leaves congratulations, well done, and enjoy.

Thanks everyone for the good wishes! I'll try do me best and all that kinda thing.

AnCatDubh (he/she) is definitely a he. Tommy is the name for those that don't know me that well. I'm not yet feeling any need to flex the newly attained moderator muscles but don't mistake the first time that i need to or am driven to it as being a new mod arrival.

I've been about a fair while in this particular forum and its been mutually beneficial (i hope). I think this place generally works well so hopefully these new found eh 'powers' of moderation won't need to be called upon very often. That being said, i'll happily help any member in any way that i can. If you feel aggrieved or need to vent - feel free to PM me (or any of the other Mods) - It's worked well in the past for me and any rational and reasonable approach will be considered fairly. I may not agree with you always but i'll do the best to be fair.

So thanks again for the good wishes - they're much appreciated. Now off with ye and discuss that art which we all love soooo much, photography!

You don't have 400 mods. Myself and Dragan were temporary mods who were drafted in to help the existing mods when there was a shortfall due to various reasons and a need to enforce the rules a bit.

Now that this is sorted we are standing down.
