Why Don't Men Wear Skirts

I don't particularly want to wear a skirt but why is it only womens do?
I'd say a summer breeze blowing through would be nice. Plus you could whip out the lad in super quick time. Whats the history of the skirt I wonder that its exclusive to women. Obviously it usually looks great on a woman with nice smooth tanned legs etc etc and it has that added benefit of ease of access when things get a bit frisky. It would also obviously look stupid on a guy, but aside from that...pros/cons?

Obviously it'd be a bit (fairly) gay, but sure before it was decided men don't wear skirts. Who said skirts for women, trousers for men? I don't wanna wear a skirt, but my balls do be sweating something serious sometimes.

Not too good on a windy day (now you see it, now you don't) if you don't want to end up on the sex-offender's register for flashing.

    A brief history of skirts
Once we had got beyond bearskins and woad, this item of female apparel was the indicator of a woman's status. A bustle said to your French aristocrat that he had a buxom (well-fed) mistress, while layers of impenetrable petticoats indicated to a Victorian gentleman that this woman was on a pedestal, and he should be looking up.

Suppose, if you had a bit of a dangler, it probably wouldn't be the most attractive sight to a woman. Then again, maybe she'd love it.

I've worn a kilt. Comfy as hell but the proper dress kilts are far from light.

Now for the boring bit. Men wore skirt/sarong type clothes for many centuries until the Huns found that riding a horse was easier/more comfortable if the material of the skirt was wrapped around the legs and so developed the basic trouser design. It them became a very male thing to wear. The rest is history...

With a kilt in this weather you'd need a strap-on thermos flask.

It does sound good for those hot summer days when the balls get all sweaty, a nice breeze would be great. but......if men started to wear skirts, where would it stop? i.e. men wear skirts, legs are cold, so men wear tights. mens legs are hairy and ugly, so they shave their legs, then they'd start wearing high heels (cause apparently mens legs look great in high heels:rolleyes:) all thats left is to strap on a pair of boobs

Skirts are not only for women. All around the world men wear skirts of one type or another. Every man here has worn a 'skirt' at some time in his life, be it a towel when you get out of the shower or a dressing gown/bath robe...all of which are skirts. A quick google brings up the following and I'm sure it's not a comprehensive list:
Kilt, Lunghi, Sarong, Kikoi, Pareo, Sulu, Galabeya, Toga, Saris, Kimono, Hanbok, dirndl, Loincloth, midi, muumuu, pannier, sarong, pakome, lava-lava, canga, tupenu, ki-koi, lunghi, robe, tunic, alb, dhoti…

Perhaps it's just the insecurities of men in most 'Western' cultures that see wearing a 'skirt' an issue.

Too much breeze. You gotta keep the twins at optomal temperature to ensure maximum damage when issuing facials to the lusty ladies.

Biologically speaking men SHOULD be wearing skirts really.

Your balls are outside your body for a reason. Sperm production functions at its optimum when the temperature there is a good bit cooler than the 37 degrees normal body temperature.

Squeezing the whole apparatus into tight trousers, thus insulating and heating it is counter-productive (in the true word sense)

That was exactly my point, that it nearly makes more sense for men to be wearing skirts than women folk.

The Romans wore skirts and we know all about their warrior type abilities as well as pillaging and raping any female in sight whilst wearing those red skirts :)

They dont wear skirts because the dont have to, they can slope around forums and chatrooms pretending to be women instead, the skirt is optional/bonus. I am a man, by the way, just so you know but if i did want to wear womens cloths it would have to be them hocky skirts... kinky!

Men don't wear skirts because it is planned that way , its all about population control and eugenics , trousers are made fashionable for men that crush and overheat them and help to lower the sperm count , to keep the population down , if men wore looser clothes and became healthy then the population would increase which would increase carbon emissions (which by the way is good for the environment) and they can not have that because the elite psychopaths want the planet all for themselves.

As a member of the elite I resent your use of the word 'psychopath'. We are more sociopathic then psychopathic.
Can you give a source for your claim that more carbon dioxide would be of benefit to the environment. It's an intriguing statement and if you can educate me you may find that there is a place for you amongst the Elite...IF you pass the qualifying tests of course.
