White man came across the sea
He brought us pain and misery
He killed our tribes, he killed our creed
He took our game for his own need

We fought him hard we fought him well
Out on the plains we gave him hell
But many came too much for cree
Oh will we ever be set free?

Riding through dustclouds and barren wastes
    Galloping hard on the plains
Chasing the redskins back to their holes
Fighting them at their own game
Murder for freedom a stab in the back
Women and children and cowards attack

Run to the hills run for your lives
Run to the hills run for your lives

Soldier blue on the barren wastes
    Hunting and killing their game
Raping the women and wasting the men
The only good indians are tame
Selling them whisky and taking their gold
Enslaving the young and destroying the old

Run to the hills run for your lives

    Watching the people get lairy
Is not very pretty I tell thee
Walking through town is quite scary
    And not very sensible either
A friend of a friend he got beaten
He looked the wrong way at a policeman
Would never have happened to Smeaton
    And old Leodiensian
    La-ah-ah, la la lalala la
    Ah-ah-ah, la la lalala la

    I predict a riot, I predict a riot
    I predict a riot, I predict a riot

I tried to get in my taxi
A man in a tracksuit attacked me
He said that he saw it before me
Wants to get things a bit gory
Girls run around with no clothes on
To borrow a pound for a condom
If it wasn't for chip fat, well they'd be frozen
    They're not very sensible

    La-ah-ah, la la lalala la
    Ah-ah-ah, la la lalala la

    I predict a riot, I predict a riot

And if there's anybody left in here
That doesn't want to be out there

    Just relax.

No I won't because I won't be rioting for food next summer. Keep your conspiracy theories in the conspiracy theory forum please. I don't rant about my genital warts in the consumer electronics forum do I?

Gordon Brown made a fairly off-the-cuff remark - I don't see that as "slapping us all over the face"...

What happens to people to turn them into conspiracy theorists?
Are they smarter than us and see the actions of our "benevolent" overlords for what they really are?
Did they get dropped on their heads and suddenly become paranoid and suspicious of everything?
Is it a chemical imbalance or glandular?
Did they have a bad experience with an authority figure in their childhood which caused them to be wary of any and all forms of authority?
Did they unplug themselves from the matrix?
Did they read 1984 and take it a little too literally?

I'm curious about how it happens tbh. I've seen loads of people post conspiracy theories here but I've yet to see them convince a non-conspiracy theorist about what they are on about. So I'm not really sure that simply showing people Youtube videos and arguing the case for conspiracy theories actually recruits new people to the cause.
Maybe some kind of indoctrination camp where they brainwash you would work but from a purely logistical point of view I consider that a bit unlikely. There are too many conspiracy theorists cropping up independently for it to be an organised thing.

So can any of our resident conspiracy theorists shed any light on this for me as I'm genuinely curious. How did you become one? Are you born a CT or do you become one? Is it a choice?

Here is an insight for you. When the big boys say that they are going to introduce the same health levels throughout the world, don't think that means the Africans are going to get great health care. It means they are going to take us down to their standard.

i see it as being like a post traumatic stress reaction to media saturation in our lives, its related to something called mean world syndrome

what unnerves me about hardcore conspiracy theorists is that i always get the impression that they want these things to be true, like they need there to be some sort of plan to things and they have an inability to accept that sometimes things just happen

in that way i see it as a kind of new religion

The global community has to happen. It's the obvious step. Nothings going to stop people belonging to local community's but we need to have world leader so we can go into space as one and kick the living **** out of those aliens killing our cattle.

"World Government" sounds more sinister. For someone so keen on the truth Joe is sure taking some liberties with it. Don't confuse his words with mine indeed.
