I think i might have pulled a muscle in my leg, in the upper leg. I was out walking the dog yesterday morning when she pulled me down to the ground. It was fine after wards but i got pain in my leg yesterday evening. It is quite sore. Does it take long to heal? What can i do to speed up recovery?

This is all way too vague. Is it your thigh or your calf? front or back? what exactly happened? Icing the affected area with an ice pack (covered with light cloth to protect your skin) for 20 mins or so is a good idea. Do this several times a day.

If it affects even your walking a physio will probably be required to diagnose the injury and put you on the right track to recovery

Its in my thigh. I have been limping, i cant put my weight on it. IL try the ice pack.

Sounds pretty bad. I'd suggest you go and see your doctor tbh.

If it's the back of your thigh then 2 or 3 days of takin it handy should sort ya out, unless it's serious. Take it easy Sunday and if it's givin ya proper guff on Monday hit the doc.

I'd say, from the sounds of things. You caught the aids. that's just the ways it goes. Sorry.

Sounds serious to me too. I'd get to a physio on Monday. Ice it 4 or 5 times a day in the meantime

Infracted. That's just the way it goes. Sorry.

OP this could be serious or it could simply be a pulled muscle that will right itself with rest - go see a physio/ doctor for professional advice.
