Connected to wireless - But no internet

I never had trouble with my wireless before but I may have messed it up doing a college experiment.

Anyway - I am connected to my wireless connection but cannot browse the web. I tried to ping google and I get a message saying a connection could not be established (it doesn't time out). I also don't see a problem with my IP address i.e. when I type ipconfig.

The college experiment was to delete the arp cache. I may have done this incorrectly - could this be the source of my problem.

    Thanks for any help!
