    Hi,

I have joined the gym. The only exercises I do are running and swimming. I do about 45 mins running and about the same swimming. I swim one day and run another. I was just wondering if I start taking protein drinks, will it build me up or just make me fat??!!!!

Hope someone can answer my question.

Im not an expert or anything, but I wouldn't say that you'd need a protein supplement unless you are doing alot of weights. I think you should get enough from your food, so long as your eating right. I regularly do weights, but I dont take protein shakes that much, usually just afterwards. I would eat alot of tuna, chicken fillets etc though even on days when I do no weights.
