Details for the 2nd film released today :)
Logline: Santa Barbara Police Chief Carlton Lassiter is ambushed on the job and left for dead. In a vintage Psych-style Hitchcockian nod, he begins to see impossible happenings around his recovery clinic. Shawn and Gus return to Lassie’s side in Santa Barbara and are forced to navigate the personal, the professional, and possibly the supernatural. Separated from their new lives in San Francisco, our heroes find themselves unwelcome in their old stomping grounds as they secretly untangle a twisted case without the benefit of the police, their loved ones, or the quality sourdough bakeries of the Bay Area. What they uncover will change the course of their relationships forever.
    W/D/EP: Steve Franks
    W/EP: James Roday
    W: Andy Berman
    EP: Chris Henzie
    EP: Dulé Hill
Studio: UCP in association with Thruline Entertainment
Cast: James Roday, Dulé Hill, Maggie Lawson, Kirsten Nelson, Corbin Bernsen and Tim Omundson

But it's been delayed until next year to launch with the new NBC streaming service. :(

I'm taking the title as good news that Timothy Omundson has recovered enough from his stroke to take part in the film.

James Roday is changing his name back to his birth name and dropping his stage surname.

I'd forgotten how much I loved the theme.

They need to keep making these every second year :)

Delighted to see Timothy Omundson having a large part hopefully his recovery is going well.

I noticed for the second film in a row they kept the former husband and wife apart as much as possible, I wonder was it a bad break up.

Done watching. I demand the next one now!

Did really like it. Lassie did look a bit off which is to be expected, but we've seen stroke victims in worse states. They worked around it well,
going all Rear Window with it.
I was disappointed when he was asking about having a beard, that he didn't have his big beard when it showed him.

    Also
the ending felt like it was cut. Not only worrying where the dog went, but how long did Lassie have to hold the gun on the nurse? I was expecting the baby/engagement celebrations to be cut short by someone remembering Lassie.
And she would've gotten away with it if she didn't reveal herself
