Saw this on another site but just posting it on here in case it helps.

Wizard is a 9 year old tri-colour Cavalier King Charles cross female dog. She accidentally went wandering out an open door on the 19th of January from Ballymun Road in Glasnevin. While desperately searching for her the family have discovered that she was picked up by a lady. This lady was on her way to Ashton dog pound to drop her in as a lost dog when she met a family looking to adopt a dog. This lady handed Wizard over to this new family and so Wizard never made it to the dog pound.

We are appealing to anyone who might have any information on where she might be or if the family who are currently caring for her might come forward. Wizards family are so upset and distressed. Wizard is an adored family pet. She is mostly black but with a white muzzle and tan markings.

Hi not sure how much help this is to anyone but theres a labrador wandering around my area the last few days who looks very skinny and seems lost.

I've tried to call the dog to me several times but it just runs away and keeps barking at me so dont want to get too close as my own little dog is a wuss,so havnt been able to get close enough to see if boy/girrl but pretty sure doesnt have a collar on.

I seen dog tonight wandering around with bottle of lucozade in mouth as a toy but the poor thing was out in the cold and snow and I hope its just not a neglected dog cos that will make me very mad.

So if anyone looking for this dog he's been hanging around balbriggan up close to the new Dunnes store and the new estates.

This is awful, i hope the poor fella has a home and his owner finds him. With the weather being so cold and no food available he must be in awful state and wont survive for long. Suzie, any chance you might ring local SPCA next time you see him? I know you said he is not too friendly but if you offer him some food he might come over and you will be able to take him to the vet to see if he is microchipped and bring him to the shelter or something. Fair play to you for caring, so many people would not give a damn about animal like that.

Hi folks, we found an elderly Jack Russell yesterday in Sligo, have a pic which I'll upload. No collar but has a chain, found in the Kevinsfort area (possibly trying to woo a labrador a quarter of his age in heat!! :) ) He looks like a pet dog but is badly lame and famished, we've been feeding him since yesterday but called the dog warden as we're away a lot and I dont think he'll survive much longer without shelter. Has a blackish face and another dark bit on his back. Quite old, very tame and docile. Any leads or ideas? warden is due to have a look at him this afternoon I think...

    Thanks,

    T.

A pure white cat (unfortunately it doesn't have long hair, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have odd eyes) has been hanging around my house for the last 2 days, appears to be lost, very friendly, has a collar but no name, would appear to be fully grown. I live in the Rathfarnham/Templeogue area.

I am pretty certain it's not yours Kablamo but feel free to PM me if you wish.

Last Friday (6th March) I picked up a small black and tan dog (looks at least part chiahuahua) that was running around terrified on the Ballymun Road. She had no collar but seems well cared for and v affectionate. I'm sure someone is probably heartbroken at losing her and I'd love to reunite her with her owners
PM me if you know anyone who may have lost this dog

This young lady was about to be taken home by a lovely eastern european lady and her daughter even though they are not allowed dogs in their rented accommodation. Sooo, we took her home with us.

She was starving but other than that all seems well. Lovely nature. We want to reunite her with her owners and we hope that she is chipped and allthough she has a very distinctive red collar, there is no disk. Tomorrow we will phone the warden but if anyone is looking... here she is:-

Hi all! On Friday night last week (04/04) me and my two housemates were making our way to the central at about 12pm. It was pouring with rain when we came across a small dog who was soaking wet and very frightened opposite Gallagher's hotel, we walked it home and bought it a tin of dog food. If you know anyone who is missing a small dog who sounds somewhat like this..

    -Tale-less
    -Frightened/nervous dog
    -Gentle
    -Collar-less
    -Fussy eater
    -house trained
    -can "sit"
-brown, black muzzle, white patch on chest
    -lazy
-quiet (have yet to hear him bark)
    -likes ham!

you can email me on hopelesswords@hotmail.com

He was very frightened and saturated with rain. All he does is sleep and he really likes ham. We think he is a puppy but he could also just be a small dog as we are unsure of what kind of breed he could be.

Found posters will be made shortly and put around the town, otherwise he is getting a lot of love from his new vast array of foster parents.

    Thanks a million!

    Martina

Suzie, got out of our back garden in Lucan a few hours ago. She's a breed of pointer and is very nervous, would probably not approach you unless you spent some time trying to coax her to you.
