This will likely lead to a Team Adamle vs Team Orton Survivor Series match or even but very unlikely a Orton vs Adamle singles match at Survivor Series.

Wonder who will win the tag match:rolleyes:
Anyways Orton to SD is not totally impossible, especially if they cant be arsed to explain Edges absence when he returns to screen, the y can send him over to Raw in exchange for Randy and never mention Edge’s time in hell. I cant imagine Orton would be to keen to go to Smackdown for obvious reasons though.

There is a thing called interference? The Miz and Morrison get a win which could give them a huge rub which would not make DX look weak thus building up their individual feuds.

People here seem to think if Miz and Morrison dont double pin DX and leave them bloodied they are getting BERRIED. The tag team is getting the rub off DX, fans of them should be happy that they are in a feature match on Raw.

with the likes of John Cena etc

    but it contributes to it

    Explain?
with the likes of John Cena etc

He is still a fine main event wrestler.

He is still a fine main event wrestler.

i personally think that john cena is only there for the kids

    he's marketed towards them

most people hate him because is character is quite boring and stupid and only really appeals to young kids

His signature moves are either just regular moves with taunts or moves that you would see 9 year olds doing while watching wrestling in their living rooms :
    -FU(Poor mans Death valley driver)
    - 5 knuckle shuffle(Poor mans peoples elbow a fist drop w/a taunt)
    -STFU

suppose it not all his fault

wwe has shoved him down our throats

You still havent answered my question about it being PG.

    cant really explain it

And? How can they be a poor mans whatever when Cena is marketable? Was the Peoples Elbow a poor man's Legdrop?
wwe has shoved him down our throats

Ill never understand this view when it comes to Cena.

    i remember the attitude era

that compared to now is such a change

basically wwe needs to be PG

vince wants it to be a family show

so the kids buy action figures and WWE kids magazines!!

    Eric Bischoff"
Go back and look at what WWF was delivering in terms of content and ratings in the early 90s before NITRO forced WWF to abandon their “family entertainment” strategy and adapt the “Attitude” strategy. 18-49 year old men who are looking for the “Nitro Moments” or “Attitude Era” rush are going to get a softer, kinder, gentler and more cartoonish presentation.

    i remember the attitude era

that compared to now is such a change

American culture has changed if they continued down that road the company would in a much worse position as it would have lost all major sponsers and likely kick off TV. The Attitude Era was a short term fad, get over it.

What is wrong with that extactly?

WWE isnt PG programming, it is bad PG programming. Good PG programming like that of WWF in the 80s has well defined characters and easy to understand, well crafted stories. Which is the basis for the best Wrestling television and one I would welcome.

suppose your right there :( By changing the rating to PG in WWE programming, it will be easier for USA Network

what are the ratings like these days out of interest

what does wwe need to do to get back to the good old days

maybe if tna did somthing f-ing new and genuinely exciting stuff
    bring some kind of competition

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,528 ✭✭✭✭dsmythy

I'd say Miz and Morrison will get the win because of interference. They need to ramp up the Kozlov/HHH match and get the fans behind HHH even more. Nothing better than ruining a DX match to do that.

Both Shane and blonde Steph should be there for the Adamle/Orton part of the show.

I wouldn't be shocked if Jericho reclaimed the title back tonight. Jericho's reign was too short. Two steel cage match wins for him, who knows.

2.9 to 3.2 in other words middling to poor. Although this judgment is hard to make as Television viewership is in a state of transition with Tivo (DVR) and watching online.
what does wwe need to do to get back to the good old days

People's "good old days" is usually the Wrestling they grew up with. You better buy the John Cena time machine when WWE comes out with it. :p

Dave Meltzer kind of hinted at that this morning, WWE does know it was too early to take it off Jericho and it was too soon for Batista to win it. This mainly based on crowd reactions on at last week's Raw. BUT taking the title of Batista this early will make him look weak. So they booked themselves in a hole.

I think if the people who are complaining now went back in time and watched WWE in the 1980's many would still be complaining too except it would be Hulk Hogan and not John Cena who would take the abuse.

People were more complaining over the difference in match quality between WWF and NWA back then and generally not the Writing.

I have older friends that watched both (late 80's who were in their mid-teens then) and as I reminissed about how much I loved WWF back then (I would have been about 5) they said they preferred the NWA not only for the wrestling but because it was less child orientated in terms of feuds.

I think the same "older generation" of fans that don't like Cena now would not like Hogan then because it's a character not really tailored for them while in contrast I see with the class I have kids, both boys and girls who hang on his every move.

With putting on the old rose coloured glass storylines in both WWF & NWA were often better, had more contituty that the WWE has today which is pretty much my point. How WWF & NWA delivered there storylines were different but they similar in solid storytelling.
