    Hi

Going to buy my parents a LCD TV for Christmas, was looking at this one on Expansys http://www.expansys.ie/d.aspx?i=167953 pretty good price(ex Vat) but in the Details it says under Tuner(s) Analogic, DVB-T MPEG2 (Freeview).

Can someone tell me what Analogic is? They have Sky Digital and I know they can simply connect it to the TV with a Scart lead, but I was just wondering what it was? Have been looking through Google for the answer but can find any.

    Thanks.

Oh yeah does anyone have any thoughts on the TV itself.

It is an analogue tuner that picks up the 4 Irish channels with a tv aerial.
The freeview tuner will not work with Irish DVB-T when it launches next year as our system will use MPEG4 compression rather then MPEG2 which is used in most European countries.
