When I was in college I lived next to a pub and I used to steal the loo roll the whole time. It was those big ones too. I think during that 3 year period I actually bought maybe 4 rolls maximum.

I'm sorry, but students do have the right to steal toilet paper from public loos.

It may not be in the U.N. Charter of Fundamental Rights (or whatever it's called) but it's still her right.

Karma when the bog-roll kleptomaniac gets the screaming squits and someone else has nicked the toilet-paper. Get out of that sh1t-leg. :pac:

    It's stealing plain and simple

My sister fleeces teabags, sugar and even spoons from her canteen at work. She's not even a student.:o Hope no one's noticed.:(

My girlfriend steals all her toilet roll, borderline fine-grade sandpaper. Don't use her bathroom much.

I hope she checked for skid marks on the sides of the rolls before she shoved them into her handbag . :D

Lidl do grand 9 packs of loo rolls for €3.49. Good value, and they're good quality.

have done the same back in the day when stuck but would never leave the place without a roll - if there was a spare it was fair game (only did this about twice both times in work when i was poor and just moved out of home)

now left over sambos/biscuits from meetings make for a cheap lunch :)

If im stuck I'll grab a few sheets, but not the entire roll, nothin worse than painting the place and finding no bog roll left.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,789 ✭✭✭✭ScumLord

It's only loo roll, if they leave it out someones going to take it and why shouldn't that person be me?

That aint bad... I never buy Bog roll.

Regular raids are made on the college for sh!t tickets. A screwdriver and a backpack, there you have it. A bag full of bog roll.

As for anybody that would use the toilets in the uni. They stink and i wouldnt use bar for a fit of the squits.

Why's everybody getting so annoyed anyways, i'd be more sickened with the people who fill the bowl with bog roll to block it. At least i wipe with what i steal.

We use to swipe the very large rolls from our local, we would throw them out an open the window in the jacks. The owner copped on and put bars over the window.

There was a week at the start of the year where our whole house (nine people) either just used the jacks in college or used subway napkins as toilet paper. Funny how we always seemed able to spend upwards of a fiver on a subway but not €1.09 on 4 rolls of tesco value bum wipes. I definitely rob rolls if I see em left out, but I agree with the rule of not taking the last one, it's lousy.

I've never done it (I live at home...), but there are about 5 huge bails of bog roll in my job that are just ASKING to be stolen! If anyone wants, I'll sell them a bail for €5.99

    THAT'S BASICALLY A 5er!!!!!!!

    Bargain if you ask me.

Don't need em, After seeing one of those Andrex Puppies, I bought one to hang behind the toilet door. You wipe your arse with one of these and the puppy cleans itself afterwards. Those Andrex people are so fucking smart.

Yeah but cats generally clean themselves more often and better than dogs. Cats FTW. Tabby ones preferably.

Yeah but the claws only come out when they're angry or scared. You'll be fine if you just give the pussy a bit of a fondle.

I can quite see why some people might wipe their arse with a pussy, but for a lot of people (most women, in fact), it wouldn't be the done thing. :P

Maybe people should be willing to experiment. Experimentation is always a good thing. Prevents stasis in the human race.

Funny I was just thinking about this while trying to take my mind of a particularly bad poo experience recently (see this thread for details http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055409480). I thought to myself why have I been buying bog roll like a sap when I can just take it for free. My company pays me ****, so it would be balancing the universe in a way if I take their bog roll. And apart from the cost its just embarrassing buying toilet roll in shops. I also have started to think about other things I can steal, and realised I don't have to pay for things like coffee and tea, and could probably steal the milk as well. And don't bother looking down on me, with this recession you'll all be at it soon enough.

You know if you used nice soft tampons instead of that roughhouse pub toilet paper your period wouldn't have lasted so long.
