My fingers feel like they're about to snap off, Just been outside where it's been snowing for the last couple of hours. I couldn't take the cold any longer so I had to come inside. I absolutely love snow :D

But unfortunately not sticking. Don't have my camera with me in any case so even if it did stick I wouldn't be getting any shots.

Yeah it doesn't look like it's going to stick, it's about an inch thick but it's really loose snow (if that makes sense). Pity!

I'm a very very silly person, I went out for a drive today with no coat OR CAMERA!!!!

My 6 yr old says she will now make sure I bring my camera everywhere because we were in the middle of a freaking blizzard in October.

For that exact reason I bought a panasonic lumix fx35 which gets the American Express treatment, I'm more likely to forget the mobile phone.

Had huge snowflakes in Rathmichael but instantly melted. I'm dreaming of...

I was dricing cross country and caught on the m4 but if I had the camera I would have taken a detour. I bought a bridge camera for my daughter who is 6 and we kept it in the car just in case but someone borrowed it and I never put it back in.

Kick up the ass ffor me.

Well done though to the op on a great shot.

Taken in Dunshaughlin around 12, it went to rain shortly after that.

Borderfox... are you a horse? Is this your family or something? You're beginning to scare me.

Magicmarker, I was on my way to a kids portrait today and stopped by the field behind where I live and took this with the idea to send it off to the Irish Field/Farmers Journal and get an extra few quid for the day. I have a Horse and take pictures at Horse shows for a living so I am around them quite a bit so only goes to reason that they will be in a lot of my pictures.

Oh come on Border the secret is out.....

Seriously though another great shot. Isnt it mad the way the horses stand facing the same direction when the rain is coming!

They stand with their arses to the wind direction! :)

So Border completely off thread for a sec since you are the expert can you recommend a riding school around Lucan or within reasonable distance, used to go to Castleknock when I was a kid but now closed. I want to bring the little one.

Back on thread though is there anyone else with snow pics or any chance of some more snow coming our way???

Probably somewhere like Pelletstown, just off the Trim Road.

There's one at Ashtown Gate, if you're still in the Castleknock area.
Right next to the train station.
