October Snow In Annamoe

Here's a few pics of the snow today, got far more than I was expecting, great day all in all.

Down by the lake

Snowy fields stretch out into the distance

Foothills of Scarr Mountain, about 10cm of snow there, can only imagine what its like higher up.

Looking down towards Ashford

Wintery entrance to field!

Snow day declared...

Hopefully a taster of the winter to come!

Great shots there SC , really like the first two , a real 'Wintery' feel about them , and yet the trees still in leaf , very rare

Heheh!, not quite cold enough for that!!, but the snowy crunch crunch underfoot as I walked about was reward enough
