What exactly is wrong with it?

You could always email the manufacturers. I doubt many people will be specialist treadmill servicers, but if you know what is wrong you might be able to find a similar handyman to try. e.g. if electronics are gone contact a shop that repairs pcs or dvd players, TVs etc. If the motor is gone contact a washing machine repair place, or mechanic.

It is generally all the same parts when you open, e.g. they can tell if capacitors are gone, or if it needs a new display, and then go about ordering it. I fixed my tumbledryer by just putting the model in online and what was wrong with it, turns out it is a common problem, only had to get a new capcitor on ebay for €8, would probably have been €100 for parts, callout & labour for a whirlpool engineer. Capacitors seem to be a common thing to go, especially on motorised stuff, they hold a charge and give the motor the initial kick to get going.

Hi everyone hope someone can help me here,

I have a horizon treadmill ( not sure of the make right now) and while moving it a few weeks ago i got caught in the rain and it got a bit wet..

When i turned it on after was no life in it, so i opened it up and discovered that the circuit board had blown.

Where would i get a new circuit board for it without paying a fortune

    Cheers

If the motor control board has gone on your machine it will cost about £150 + vat for the part. MCB's are about the most expensive part on your machine. An engineer call out fee to replace and check this is around €100.

    Hope this helps.
