    Hey,

Just looking to see what traditionally unorthodox exercises people get up to? Something a bit different. For me personally after a good hard sprinting session a couple of lengths of pushing the car up and down the lane (50 yards) really give a nice full body burn (with my 10 year old sister keeping it straight of course. Anyone else do things that are slightly out of the ordinary?

Farmers walk lugging crates of beer home from the shop, damn offers are on this weekend, going to be in bits in the morning, from carrying it, and drinking it.

Also, what ya gonna do as the kids get bigger??

How embarrassing would it be to get "towed" by your Ma on your first day of secondary school??!!

"It's okay Ma - I can walk from here, seriously!" :D

There was a photo years ago in the Fingal Indo, but I can't find it on the Net, and I don't have any digital ones. To be honest, I rarely do it now, the kids are too big for the trailer, and they prefer being on their own bikes. I mostly use it if I have to carry something big and bulky on my bike.

First time I cycled through Swords with the trailer, you'd swear the Circus had come to town. Cars stopped to stare, and pedestrians all begged for a jaunt. Like I didn't have enough of a load! They got used to it, but I always felt very safe with the trailer, as drivers always noticed it and gave me plenty of room.

Never seen one before in my life! I'm not sure if that means I had a privileged or deprived childhood! :D

How many kids you stick in it Eileen?

and do you use progressive loading? ie. when the bike gets too light and the ride home is too easy, do you borrow another child or just decide to have another one? :D

Two kids, plus school bags and lunch bags. I begrudge every extra ounce they carry.

It never gets too light. When it's not full of kids, it acts a bit like a drag parashute.
