Alternative to damn salads

Typically during my working day I eat 3 salads consisting of spinach, chicken fillet, peppers, some nuts and some sort of oil. It's getting a tad boring now so I'd like to change one of them for something a little different - maybe something that I can get in to me a little bit quicker. Any suggestions? (Trying to get a lot of calories in these days by the way!)

    Thanks.

If you are trying to get calories in then shouldn't you aim for bread, rice, pasta, spuds, heaps of meat and veg etc? Have the salad as a side to pick at throughout the day.

As arky said, eat high calorie foods such as pasta, potatoes etc..what your describing is a low calorie diet, for losing weight.

Why do you eat so many salads? Do you have access to a microwave?

if you want to keep your veg intake high but are sick of peppers / lettuce / tomato etc you could try eating non-salad type vegetables (even cooked ones that have gone cold) - cold brocolli mixed with chick peas / kidney beans and some beef / chicken is actually not bad!

Typically this is what my daily diet is like:

Breakfast: Either a bowl of porridge or scrambled eggs (4 full ones) with cheese and milk..and some pineapple after
3 salads then (Would these not contain a fair few calories even though they're only salads? I mean, there's a fair amount in each one)
During training: 500ml water with 30g protein
Post training: 500ml water with 30g protein and 30g glucose
Meal after training: Wholemeal pasta, chicken fillet, veg, pesto
Before bed: Protein shake with milk and 30g protein and some nuts

Drink roughly 3 - 4 litres of milk a day by the way.

So the milk alone amounts to 1500-2000 calories. I weight 182lbs by the way.

I'm putting in an order on www.irish-lifting.com , any recommendations? I'll give the cold salads a go and see how that works out as well but I am looking for something to down extremely quickly (because of time restraints in work).
