    So I'd picked up most of this stuff along my travels, but I see lots and lots of people struggling with the ol' up arrow, and came across this really good article today so I thought I'd share it:

    Definitive guide to bash command line history. Includes a really good cheat sheet at the end.

    To my mind the two most useful things are !$ (last argument of the last command) and ctrl+r (omg savage!).
