Trying to get a Bravia TV to auto select HDMI on start-up

Everytime I turn on my Sony Bravia (KDL-20S2030) it auto selects the AV1 connection, which is where my NTL digital box was. Now I've gotten rid of NTL the TV auto selects the "Digital" connection, which is empty. I've got three connections on it that I use: AV1 for my DVD recorder (which is barely ever powered on), AV3, which is for my Xbox (also off a lot), and the HDMI, which is for my Apple TV (Always on) and Playstation (Off when not in use). Now since it used to select the NTL connection automatically I thought it that meant it went for the first active connection it found, but if it did that it should now select the HDMI since the Apple TV is always on.

It would just be so much more convenient for it to just select the connection I want but for the life of me I can't find any option in the settings. Does anyone know a way? Thanks a lot.

From what I understand, it cant unless it is switching to a product made by the tv company. Eg, samsung have 'anynet' which searches for samsung products when they are switched on etc. Not like scart at all..
