Why don't you just drink the milk from the carton??

Is there any particular reason you want it in shake form??

To replace the amount of protein in a shake with the amount from the milk powder you'll end up paying about as much as a protein supp anyways. Why not try the supplement factory stuff, its about 30 quid cheaper than the maximuscle. Or get unflavoured stuff (don't know the website for that one) its even cheaper, and then add the nesquik.

Unflavoured can be got cheap from www.bulkpowders.co.uk but like the name suggests it is cheap in bulk, the postage takes up a good bit of cost, but remains the same up to large amounts. So if buying small amounts it is cheaper to get it online from irish sites, with cheap or "free" postage.

Scrambled eggs take two minutes in the microwave.
A tin of tuna takes two seconds to open.

I suppose the cheapest thing is probably tuna from tesco-lidl.
Maximuscle is way too expensive for what is is. I used big whey for ages from nutritionX.91 servings for about 60 euro.

If you are in college then you are probably going to be in the same financial situation for the year so work out the price per serving and the quality of the product and make your mind up from there.

Keep an eye out for deals as well. Irish lifting were doing protein tubs at half price or something a while back.

You're not alone there. Fortunately, other companies don't charge you for their heavy marketing, so you can get stuff for less than half the price if you shop around. I'm making my way through 10lb of Supplement Factory Whey, which cost me 67 Euro, that may seem like a lot, but at the rate I'm going (1 shake a day), I see it lasting til Christmas. Considering that's one of my meals for the day*, I can't think of anything else that would be that cheap to replace it with.

*I blend it up with milk, frozen berries and oats; I can't express how tasty it is either.

Cottage cheese in lidls is very cheap.

myprotein.co.uk is another place to get cheap unflavoured whey.
