I had to check my calendar to make sure it wasn't April 1st.

Well it sure does look like us old folks aren't welcome rounds these parts no more :(

From the Wrestling Observer a month ago:
A story that relates in a lot of ways to last week’s story on WWE not connecting with adults. Presumably, they’ve decided that they don’t want to. One reader noted he received an e-mail from the WWE with a marketing survey asking what fans wanted wrestling to be. The first question was age and sex. When he responded he was a 44-year-old male, the screen told him the survey was over.

The "last week's story" he is referring to was what some of you may remember me saying was one of best pieces of writing Ive ever read on Wrestling.

Nope a chunk of them are decked out in Affliction and UFC gear now. Which shirt by shirt are more expensive.

    Its been around for months.

Better pictures on it than WWE.com. Handy for getting titantron movies and theme music off, too.

    I see....

What do you mean you see? Many MMA fans are former or disinterested Wrestling fans. The demographic movement from Wrestling to MMA is extremely easy to track. When Austin was shown on camera at a UFC event he got a greater pop than any mainstream celebrity ever shown on camera at a UFC event.

    Obviously they dont want to.
    Wrestling fans are kids.

    Age and sex? :P

    I have this vision of this guy on his computer and it just says;
"Were sorry, but this survey is now over...."
Come to think of it, maybe that was the survey?

WWE has to start marketing to kids because it's losing it's core demographic month after month in favour of MMA. A fairly decent example of this is if you go to the Wrestling shop on Stephens Green, most of the Pro Wrestling merch lately is bought by parents for their kids, most people that go in there around the 18-25 demographic end up buying Warrior Wear or Affliction tops and UFC/EliteXC DVD's.

In fact, over the course of the last year, the shop went from having a small selection of MMA stuff, to being a shop divided in half with Pro Wrestling merch on one side, and MMA wear on the other side.

It's supply in demand, and there's obviously more demand for MMA, primarily because Pro Wrestling has gone to hell in recent months.

Anyways, yeah its weird how the MMA section started off at the corner at the window and eventually evolved and grew to where it is now.

Also, there are spinny rails with more mma shirts and that.

It's getting to the point where they'll have to change the sign to MMA-Mania, Now that you'd blame them, Pro Wrestling has become such a bad joke lately to the point where we're back to 1993 all over again.

Maybe Kane can have a new manager, Francis the Irish fireman who carrys a fire exting in case Kane sets someone on fire by mistake. :pac:

All the ones they have say "Sold".

My girlfriend pointed out (oh yeah, i finally got her in the shop) that all the belts say sold on them.
    She couldnt understand why.

That place on WWE Dublin-show days is like christmas in there!

I said ... ,implied rudeness yet you used it in your reply asking me to drop it.

Can we actually drop it now? Learn from it and use smilies when you make comments that could be seen as potentially ambiguous by others.

TBH I think you are reading way too much into a couple of periods man.Not everyone on here is trying to argue with you and I certainly wouldnt consider it trolling. The way I would look at it is that the poster said I see and the periods were to illustrate that they took what you said on board.

There could be 2 reasons for that...

They knew who you were ;)

    or more than likely..

I know for a fact those guys do get a certain number of bags printed everynow again, but they cant get one printer to do it exclusive.

to be honest, i didnt think "..." implied rudeness,

the fact that I have used it plenty on this site, and no one, except for you rovert has actually got annoyed.

Sorry about this to all the other posters, i just wanted to clarify to rovert that i was not being rude.

"..." cannot be construed as rudeness surely?

    ANYWAY... Sorry guys.

    ok... I am sorry.

by the way, in most books, the use of 3 "."s is quite common.

This is a totally ridiculous argument, youre hilarious.
