    They've dug trenches along the front so maybe it's drainage or something like that.

    iv heard rumours about parking being put there but they would have cut down all the trees there if that was true.

    A lecturer told us because they are placing down new building/prefabs there - I amn't quite sure to be honest. We also own the building just as you come off round about for leisure world, that black modern one. They planning using that to full potential too - To be honest I don't know whats going on with this place.

    Yeah they have them lying around. Would make sense if new building going in.

    it's a new building. library, IT centre - when in doubt, check out the planning permission :D

    yea those buildings look like a prison


    i rarely bother checking out those planning permission anymore. as i find they are written to be deliberately vague probably for privacy reasons

    The construction on the building isn't going to start for ages yet...what they are doing now is moving all the underground pipes and cables out of the area where the building is going to be....

    Its a library resource centre it says it on da plannin permission out the front.

    Your definetly not going to find your answer in a thread about why the front lawn has been uprooted. Try going to the sports and socs office, I'm sure they'd know or do a bit of googling and u might find a webpage for CIT hurling
