    Hi folks,
Im not accostomed to having to lose weight so just need a small bit of advice....I'm 5'3 and have always been about 8stone - 8 1/4 stone which is pretty slim i suppose, never had to worry about weight or anything, went to yoga once a week & gym 2/3 times. So then in Feb I went travelling for 7mths with some friends, most of this time we were out every 2nd night drinking a lot, eating out in asia (rice & noodles!) & sitting on the beach...sounds fab eh?! it was but of course i gained an awul amount of weight!! 1 1/4 stone to be exact! So 7weeks ago i got home, got settled back & rejoined the gym & yoga & started a regeime to lose weight. I did 2weeks on my own of about 4sessions a week of 90 mins, about 30mins cardio in it. Then in the gym I got an assessment & plan. So I weighed in at 9stone 1/4 on that date (26th Oct) with 31.4% body fat. Ive been working hard since then, I've 2 x 75min sessions of yoga a week & 3 big gym workouts & 1 little gym workout, the big workout is 5min warm up, 45mins weights, 40mins cardio & 10mins stretching (increasing weights, reps, cardio & stretching every 2weeks), the little session leaves out the weights. So im starting into the 4th week of that today & find myself a little disheartened. I still can't fit into my size 8 jeans that I used to wear all the time. Also I weighed myself in a pharmacy on one of those machines at the weekend & it said I was 9stone 5lbs...which means ive lost no weight at all after 5weeks of working out like a mad thing!! My body fat was 27.1 which means i lost some of that but im just wondering am i doing anything wrong?? I eat very healthily, nothing fried, no cakes nothing, i dont eat anything after my dinner in the evening & would usually have porridge in the morn, soup & soda bread at lunch & a healthy dinner, fish or chicken & veg. Ive also stopped going out drinking, only once every 2weeks now. Very frustrating not to see any progress. My goal is to have lost the stone & 1/4 by christmas and now im wondering if this is going to happen at all. can anyone give me any advice or tell me of similiar cases? Im very small so the extra weight i have is quite noticeable on me, its only on my stomach so is always sitting there as a paunch on top of my jeans (the few that do fit me!) to remind me! Thanks!

id say just keep things as they are for now and keep up the exercise and gym routine - a month really isnt a long time and it will prob take a bit longer ... if you have dropped a few % BF that means you are going in the right direction and your weight on the pharmacy machine could be inaccurate due to various factors such as clothing / shoes / time of day etc etc ....
