Aye, I noticed one wasn't done, but i'm too much of a lazy bastid to start one.

Chelsea looking good now. Wouldn't be surprised to see this end up 5-0.

4-0 now. The big lad getting a goal.

I saw this on another forum and it made me lol
Why the hell are Boro sponsored by Garmin?
The f**kers can't even find their way around Chelsea!

Another 1 disallowed. Borough are atrocious. But Chelsea are playing fantastic considering the amount of players they are missing and I don't think anyone can argue with that.

Still 18 mins left. Lampard off Deco on tells its own story.

Is there a reason why Spurs play exclusively on Sundays? (insert sabbath joke here)

Vela is on the bench. I'd say we will be seeing him soon if things stay as they are. :(

eww, is today is debut then? He at CB? Think Gallas is out is he not...

My god adebayor has been muck. Fabregas Clichy and Van Persie(sort of) the only players up to anything for Arsenal really. RvP did very well with his chance but really should have put it away. Vela on please!

And what the **** is Song at right back?!

    Indeed. In Jeff we thrust.

You know that he turned down a golden handcuffs deal from the beeb to stay with the Soccer Saturday crew.

    Best anchor on tv.

    Yes.

Most of the ties when I am watching pundits, presenters, roving reporters etc. I think, what a cushy job. Probably on £50,000 for having a bit of a natter about football (sure don't we all do this anyway). However, with Jeff, he earns every penny he is paid. The energy he expends every Saturday is phenomenal.

He did the same with ITV didn't he?

    Legend. Love SS.

FT nil all at Villa Park, disappointing. A real lack of cutting edge on Villas part today.

Linesman hit by something from crowd, possibly as a result of that eejit Rileys performance today.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Linesman at the Villa - Pompey game was hit by a 50p coin - probably thrown by a Villa fan.

So Spurs have to win today. I'm not entertaining any ideas of anything but 3 points against Stoke.

George Boateng tries his luck from 25 yards. The ball not only goes out for a throw-in but is some 20 yards in front of the corner flag.

    :eek::D

    Hull 1 - 0 West Ham
Andy Dawson knocks in a corner and Michael Turner climbs well to head the Tigers in front.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,815 ✭✭✭Charlie

Penalty Stoke. Gareth FAIL sent off.

Edit: Converted Stoke 1 up. Bit of faffing around with the ball constantly blowing away from the spot. The wind blew it away at least 4 times. Well done Higgenbottom holding his nerve.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,434 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

That is the most impressive penalty conversion I've ever seen I think. To step up after the ball constantly rolling off the spot with the wind and smash it in the corner took some nerve imo.

SPURS IN A WORLD OF HURT.

Was it a bad foul or was he last man?

    Lols, and such.

Will Juande Ramos be sacked in the morning? I thought he was the Spurs messiah? I think they need Joe Kinnear in there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46,838 ✭✭✭✭Mitch Connor

But Juande combines all the best parts of Jose Mourinho, Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger. How could anyone fire him?

    Last man.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,815 ✭✭✭Charlie

It was a stonewall pen and red, yes.

1-1 now, Bent finishes off a scrappy chance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,434 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Darren Bent gets on the end of a lucky deflection to have an easy chance. Keeps his composure and finishes. Looked offside from the replay but the linesmen missed it.

Funnily enough, the last time I watched Spurs play a Sunday game Bent scored a very similar goal against Chelsea to draw level.
