swimming pool

    I want to start swimming and the last time I was in salthill pool I wasn't impressed because it smelt like pee & was too cold.

    can anyone recommend a nice pool (warm and with a sauna) that is open to the public? I don't want to have to pay out for Gym membership, thanks in advance.

    Yes - the Kingfisher in Renmore.
    It's part of a gym but non-members can access for a few Euros.
    Sauna and jacuzzi included.

    "a few euro's" is likely to be around €10-15

    I think it is €10 to use leisureland. Is the pool at the university open to the public?

    7 for the pool and 9.50 for pool and leisure suite.

    Public hours in the evening are now 9 to 10 or 10.30 can't remember which..
