Engine Wont start

Car was 'on the shelf' for a while aiting for parts. Its a mac 28. I emptied the fuel lines and the tank, the fuel had turned to oil. Filled it up. Primed the engine. Glow start seems ok but I've put it on charge agin just to make sure. Now the problem is in the pull start. On a hard tug, I get 2/3 'snags' and the rest of…

Can anyone help me here, I dont know alot about the engines so spell things out for me please.

Pull start could be slipping. You'll need to clean your one-way bearing or starter shaft.
