Well guys I'd like to have a litttle bitch about the state of maguire's pitches. I know we've had a bad week of rain but jesus you would expect that they would hold up a little better than what they do. I had rugby training last night and it was pure bog at the start never mind the finish.

And as it's only the bottom section near Kilmurray village that is floodlit everybody trains in this little section which I can forsee becoming an absolute mire after a while.

Finally I was reading An Focal today and a lot of teams train at 07:30 in the morning due to the fact that there is no floodlit pitches in ul. Can the University please sort their **** out sooner rather later.

A) Grow on trees
Automatically go to the Sports Department
C) Mean the problem will go away

2)An international expert has advised against floodlighting the entirety of Maguires.

3)There is a synthetic development due to be open in September on the North Campus, however it is only at foundation level right now.

4)There is a committee specifically set up following pressure at Governing Authority by last year's ULSU Governers. The current administration certainly has no intention of letting moss grow on that stone.

I enjoy making people's lives difficult who make life difficult for students:D Nothing tells me that I'm being effective more than an irrate phone call!

There you are sitting in the library, books out & laptop set up reading away when someone plonks down beside you and takes 15 minutes to get everything out and set up while making the most unholy amount of noise. That in itself is not too bad it's mostly when that person then freaks out if you so much as make a peep. You get the flared nostrils, fast outflow of air and possibly even a few tuts from the person. Ugh.

In case you havn't been fortunate enough to have a lecture in FG042 I'll fill you in...it's possibly the hottest, least air conditioned lecture theatre in ul. I have public admin in there on a thursday for two hours and let me tell you I find it hard enough to stay awake in that class without the oppressive heat.

Ah 42 ain't that bad. Sit up the front if you need to stay awake, you won't fall asleep in front of a lecturer.

I can't say I've ever noticed FG042 as being hot. FB028 on the other hand gets hot.

Have lectures in both FG042 and FB028 and FG042 is the hotter.

I have that pub admin class too and I don't think the heat is the reason you feel like falling asleep in that class....:P

There is an awful whistling sound in the library from the wind howling around..
On the second floor its almost impossible to concentrate because of it!

Luckily I have headphones with me...but I can still hear the noise!
