Muscle Pain

    Hey,

I've just started back playing rugby and I'm in agony. I have major pain in the backs of my legs and my gluteus maximus. So much so that I look like a 60 year old man when trying bend to pick something up and when I sit down for a while it's difficult to get up again. I'm a bit better when I get warmed up during a run or training session but not perfect.

I considered myself fit starting back to the game as I run 3.5km each way to work five days a week, so I thought I wouldn't go through this again. I say again because I felt like this for over two weeks when I started running regularly a few months ago.

From my reading online back then I believe it isn't uncommon to go through pain similar to this but I still feel that what I'm experiencing is more extreme.

Can anyone advise if there’s anything I can do to reduce this pain and improve my conditioning outside of the obvious suggestion to stretch which I do twice during a run and before/after a training.

    Thanks
    Denis

Can you get to a cryogenic chamber?
That will work wonders 4 you bro, if not an ice bath will do.

I know how you feel, it a bad feeling aint lol, my glutes and quads hurt sooo bad when i started squating.

The freezing tempeture will work really well, you have any pain the next day.

    I promise
