    Hi Guys,

The last time I was in the gym was Thursday 2nd. I was on a holiday abroad for a few days (and during which time every day i would do around 70+ press ups and similar for crunches. Also did lots and lots of brisk walking ...around 8 - 10 miles a day. Ate healthy.
Anyway i fly back on the plane on monday night, and the following day i feel sapped of energy so i decided to give the gym a miss. Later that evening nose started to get runny, then started to get shakes/aches and pains etc..
I've started to feel a bit better and was going to wait till i have fully recovered before i hit the gym again. But i am worried that if i leave it 1 - 2 weeks without having been in the gym (granted i still do push ups except for the past 2 days etc... ) that i will loose everything i have worked hard to get. How soon do you start to notice appreciable muscle loss?

    Thanks

    agent_smith

    Get your rest

Your muscle stores should be grand

Just eat a decent amount of protein / day and get back to the gym when your all better

    Muscle-memory FTW!!!

Don't worry if your eating right a week or two off won't do any damage in fact the rest might be benificial. Take 2-3 more days off and then go.
