Ok so I wasnt sure exactly where to post this-but felt this would be most apppropriate. Im a second year business and law student and am particularly interested in persuing the legal aspect of things. What I was wondering was,is it possible to gain employment in a solicitors office for the summer months(I know its a little early, but it cant hurt to be thinking about it). I was thinking about writing to a large number of offices in the areas around feb/march and sending my CV along along. Would this be a good idea? Has anyone done this in the past? Would I have a chance of getting a reply? Would work experience such as this be an advantage to me when applying for a masters?

I would greatly appreciate any advice!
