So I'm going to start on creatine but with so many choices and different brands can anybody recommend a good one to use? Is there a number one on the market and is there anything I should look for when choosing one?

    Thanks in advance

900kg of creatine? Good luck getting through that before it hydrolises! Maybe it's for an army. Anyone wanna share delivery costs?! :D

P.s. thesupplementfactory.com is cheaper for monohydrate.

50E for 500g of creatine mono is madness.

That'll work! expect to be charged about 9 quid for shipping. It still works out cheap though.

    Any creatine monohydrate will sufice.

You dont NEED to preload either. A lot of companies put that so you use up more product. Some say you do, some say you dont. 2 servings a day at 5g will do you good. Many people take two servings of 3g.

    Price.

Powder is cheaper and just add it to a fruit juice to cause an insuiln spike to absorb it better, its good to take creatine with simple carbs.
The reason its better to drink it wit fruit juice is coz the quicker it gets absorbed the better.
Creatine is renderd useless if lying in the stomach too long, not sure how long is too long but just use it with juice and you wount need to worry

ive tried ALRI CR2, NGorge and Gaspari Size-On. Size-On wins hands down its an excellent supplement. I got mine off www.universalnutrition.ie which was about the cheapest. Dont go for monohydrate thats obsolete these days...

    LMAO
    Come again bro?
Give me 1 good explaination wht mono creatine is "obsolete"???????????

you gave me a good laugh there, thanks.

Either your a rep for gaspari or ur 1 of these guys that believes everything a supplement company says.

Creatine mono is good and cheap, by far the best way to go unless you have money to throw away, if so give it to me.

I don't know how many of you were at the ISSNs 4th annual conference in Vegas. If you were and walked by the poster presentations you probably saw the first research conducted on Creatine Ethyl Ester.

Drs Tallon and Child out of the UK tested the marketing claim that CEE avoids the breakdown of creatine to creatinine in stomach acids, providing Cr greater absorption. The availability of free creatine was compared between creatine monohydrate, SANs CM2 Alpha and MRIs CE2. After 120 minutes of incubation in 900mL of pH 1 HCL at 37 degreesC, about 3/4 of the CEE in MRI's CE2 was available and only 11% available from CM2 Alpha, while boring old creatine monohydrate was still there standing strong at 99%.

Turns out that the marketing claims that these companies use are the exact opposite of what the product does in an acidic environment. Ever wonder why you don't get the bloat with CEE? It may be because you're not really using any creatine.

Actually Size On is one of the best supplements I have ever used (other than the basics) I would be using it right now for my comp prep if it wasn't so expensive (or if I wasn't so poor!)

Have you ever actually tried Size On or are you just speculating?

    No im just speculating.
What would you give it outta 10?

I completly disagree with you that mono it obsolete, it is far from it.
Im sure they're are better creatine products but when you compare the price to the results its a great product.

If you have lots of money to buy sumtin other than mono by all mean do, i for 1 don't have that kinda money and your type of creatine aint that much better than mine.

The only differance in preformance that i am aware of is yours absorbs a BIT quicker.

To make mono preform like that all 1 needs to do is drink it with fruit juice so 1/ your absorbing it quicker and 2/ your getting an insulin spike from the fruit.

I just think that yours is over priced.

What are you competing in man?
    What weight?

I never said Creatine mono is obsolete that was a different poster in fact I am using it right now. However as far as creatines go I had amazing results off size on I added 5kg to a lot of lifts after 3 weeks on the stuff and saw a small weight increase. As for as a creatine goes I would rate it 10/10.

I am hoping to compete in the RIBBF show in March.

I am currently 220lbs and fairly lean so I am hoping to get to 230lbs and cut down to my original weight of 220lbs except even leaner
