i started swimming a few months ago. i started with a small beer belly, nothing very noticeable but something i wanted to nip in the bud. i've noticed now that, while my bb is shrinking, my upper body is getting quite muscular. i don't want to let this get out of control either. how can i manage it as i just want a uniform body shape?

Gotta be careful not to get too big....

By uniform body shape, what do you mean? Can you give us a pic of someone who looks like you want to look??

don't want to start searching the www for men's bodies but i would like a slim'ish and slightly toned physique. am 180cm and 82k so could afford to lose 5k (or grow 5c). i'm noticing my shirts getting a liiiitle tight but not too much yet. don't want to go bursting out of them (also can't afford whole new wardrobe ;-)
    thanks btw

You have no chance of bursting out of your shirts tbh. None. Muscle is very very difficult to build. Much _much_ more difficult than you think.

    Yeah, 82kg is jacked!! :D

If you've just started swimming, it's not surprising you've filled out a bit. But since the water isn't getting any denser, you're not going to have to get stronger to swim thru it...

Yeah, you don't want to end up like those Olympic swimmers, disgusting looking. There is a great diet called lipotrim you might be interested in, guaranteed to waste away your muscles.
