This is getting out of control. How many of you are, or no people who are going as Heath Ledger from the Dark Knight?
Talking to my mate working in Forbidden Planet and he says they've been constantly selling out of Joker outfits, wigs etc for the past month.

Dress up as Batman and kick the **** out of every last one of them. That'll learn 'em. Or dress up as Heath Ledger post-overdose.

There'll be a lot of Joker costumes alright. If you're looking for a way to stand out from the rest, how about this?

Ha! Way ahead of you Jango. Went as the Scarecrow a few years ago. My tip would not to use an actual burlap sack for the face. It itches the face off you.

Even if it's as the Joker Nurse, it's still not that original.

I'm going as Alice in Wonderland :) The Joker will be unavoidable unfortunately. Just like how last year everyone went "80s"...that's not a real fukcing costume!

    LOL

My best friend dressed up as the Joker for a party on Wednesday night. It took him 20 minutes to get a taxi, nobody wanted to pick him up! :D

He's already planning to use the same costume for Hallowe'en.

i loved the joker in the dark knight but every geebag out there will be thinkin "i know ill go as the joker, no one else will think of that" which will result in thousands of jokers around the country at halloween.

i think ill just burn off one side of my face and go as two-face. itll hurt like hell, but at least it will be original.

My plan is make sew and staple the burlap onto a balaclava, it'll keep it shape better and not itch like a mother****er, where can I get burlap material by the way?

Every joker out there on Halloween night deserves utmost respect. You need serious cajones to do what they're going to do

try the shop "harlequin" on coppinger row, just down from grogan's pub. very handy for all kinds of material, i reckon they'd be a good bet for burlap.

Clever! Took me ages to find burlap, ended up finding a halloween mask of an old woman that had burlap as part her hat. other options would be old coal or potato bags but they're hard to find. They just don't make burlap like they used to.

Good luck, it's one of my favourite costume as I'm a huge Scarecrow fan.

Can't fault this idea. Although i'd say there will be a few Batmans (Batmen?) around. Should be interesting at kicking out time.

Been thinking for a while about either one of the ghostbusters, father jack(with pet brick in tow) or the whole barry duffman costume, shouldnt be hard to create;) I would think a few max paynes will be around too, and the truly nerdy will be out in watchmen costumes:P
