it's an irish anime and manga convention. it runs over the weekend and there are screenings, cosplay competitions, guest speakers (vic mignogna who does the voice of Full Metal Alchemist's Ed will be there!), competition, items and pictures for sale etc.

and there's a pub quiz the friday night.
tis quite awesome.

I'm a massive anime and manga fan but sadly in my experience about 95% of the people I have met who are into it are either children or just extremly annoying nerds (I'm nerdy myself but I'm talking about guys who wear X-men belts).

I really want to go and cosplay but to be honest I think I'd be better off staying away from it unless I can find some decent people to go with.

and its ghey because i really like alot of it and even gheyer because obviously im going to be dragged to this to hang around with a load of creepy geeks that are gonna want to talk about final fantasy 7 and tentacle rape.

Well since we share the same view if we both end up going we can hang out I guess.

I like FF7, but I don't bombard people about it, I think the biggest problem I have with most of them is the arrogance factor, they seem to look down on people who are a few few episodes behind or haven't seen/read ______ manga/anime, it's sad really.

there was a few knobs but youll always have a few of them.
but all sorts of games consoles everywhere.
guitar hero,call of duty,street fighter alpha,soul calibur IV,little big planet and some mental jap game like that dance dance revolution but you use your hands.hilarious watching people do it and would be a savage drunken party game.some costumes were deadly.some were not so good.
it was a good laugh and the ammount of free **** they gave away was mental.
