I don't want to go home to an empty house

it's that time of the evening where i should be looking forward to going home but instead i dread it cos i'll be there on my own all night, any one else feel that way from time to time?

If I wasn't hitched up with kids I'd ask you out for a bit of company and friendship.
You could always just go out to the cinema after work. Used to do it all the time myself in the evenings on the way home from work when I was single, passed the time at least.

thanks, i went to the cinema last night but it's too dark to be walkin home in the evenings now

Do you live alone? If so then get a lodger or a pet. You could invite a friend for tea or perhaps join an evening class.. Go for a walk or volunteer somewhere...
Don't sit at home feeling miserable. Plenty of people let life pass them by that way.

Could always get yourself hooked up with "teh interwebs" at home (assuming you have a computer) and join some us from the boards here on WarHammer online. Could at least have some craic and chat in the evenings that doesn't involve drink/drugs or walking home in the dark etc.,

I was the same. My girlfriends gone home to Sweden for 2 months. Was a bit surreal being alone cos' I come from a big family. i just went home on the spur of the moment, just brought my toothbrush. that was probably worse though. Don't really know where I am going with this...Maybe if you want to feel better about living alone you should come stay with my family for a while. probably better if you wait til I am gone cos the sofa is taken at the moment.
