Anyone know what this place is called? It opened last year amongst the new developments next to the square. I remember getting leaflets about it in the door. But a quick google and check on goldenpages turns up nothing.

Oh, and if you've been there, any opinions?

    Thanks.

Never been in one of the Crunch gyms but they don't tend to have the best reputation from what I've heard about them.

    Hey MagicMarker,

I'm the owner of CrossFit Ireland so if you've any questions please feel free to PM me or give me a shout.

I've actually got a free pass to Crunch in Tallaght that I was going to check out tomorrow. I enjoy swimming and if nothing else this is a free swim for me. I'll have a look round the leisure centre as well while I'm there, see what you can/can't do.

    Colm

What about Westpark Fitness Centre on the Greenhills Road

There is also the Tallagh Lesuire Centre on the Fortunestown road. I have only used the pool (pay as you go) for early morning swims but they have a full gym as well.

Thats a kip, someone robbed my wallet and jacket, twice, in there.

I locked my locker and it was completely closed, yet someone still managed to get into it even though there was no damage to the locker.

So the management say; "nobody else has keys".
They're lying cuz somebody got into it cuz my jacket was upside down.

    It was around 120EU

Been a member in Crunch Dun L and Tallaght. Loved Dun Laoghaire but when I moved to Tallaght didnt wanna travel all that distance so went to the Tallaght gym. Brilliant facilities but the staff are a let down. Just dont seem bothered. All are foreign, which is fine by me but they should interact with the clients etc etc. Very impersonal service.

Now a member of westpark and I love it. Really nice staff and even the clients are friendly too.
