Is it time for (more) 24 hour gyms?

Anyone know of any 24 hour gyms in the country?
Was over in the U.S recently and was staying in what I would'nt really consider a big city (about an hour outside of Baltimore) and two of the gyms there were 24 hour 'joints'.

Was there talk of one opening up on Camden St?
Even though I work 9-5, there are some nights where I just cannot nod off to sleep and would relish burning off some energy at the gym.
Undoubtedly shift workers would think it a good idea?

Anyone any thoughts?

I think the Fitness Dock is open 24 hours Monday to Thursday. Not too sure tho tbh.

I wouldn't mind opening hours until 12am tho. That'd be nice.

Ask the people working in gyms what they think.

TBH, most gyms open between 6 & 7 am and close around 10 pm, that's pretty long already.

There's lots of people who would be very happy to work nights. I work shift, and having a gym that only stays open until 10 is a drag. The gym at work stays open until midnight - a great time to work up a sweat.

Are you inferring the workers would object? It should be the gymgoers you are asking.

Just like 24hr supermarkets, they can run on a stripped down staff due to less people around. I have a 24hr shop next to me, I much prefer going in late since there are no people around, and the young lads working usually have better music on!

9-5 is not standard anymore, I am surprised more establishments are not open later. I find it shocking no bank has copped on to this too.

Hell it's taken long enough to even get a bank open on a Saturday. I think HBOS is the only one that does??? And that's only from 9am-12pm.

i just wish on weekends they would stay open later. last year when i was working and in tf it was basically impossible for me to make it at the weekend due to closing times.

fitness dock is opened 24 hrs from 6am Mon - Thurs till 10pm....and normal hours for the rest of the week
