I am currently starting my fourth year doing communications engineering in university and the numbers going into first year have reduced significantly. This year there is only 6 in total in first year engineering, compared to 30 last year.
Has anyone else noticed such a change in their university in any stream of engineering?

The Building Services Engineering course was cancelled in my college this year. There were 14 in my 1st year, 12 last year. Only 3 in 3rd year. Civil is still packing them in. Electronics is very low aswell.

Well IIRC the last 5 years about 1/2 of the LC students in my school went to the local IT to do engineering of some description. So wew probably have too many now!
