Has anyone got a vibro / fit plate? They are a cheaper version of the original power plate. I am trying to choose one on ebay and am baffled at all the different types, powers etc.... Need advice Please !!!

Thanks for your opinion but I have made up my mind to get one as they are good for bone density and I have osteoporosis. I have been using the one they have in the local chart busters but it would be so convenient to buy one myself

Load bearing exercise (weights) would be far more beneficial for bone density, amongst other things. They're cheaper, more versatile, easier storage, etc.

You can start as low as .5Kg and work up from there.

totally agree - its good for getting a massage but thats about it.

was in the gym the other day and there were two ladies sitting on one having a giggle - now a washing machine is much cheaper of you want that fuzzy feeling.

IMO they are better than the feedback here so far. they have been used by Nasa since the 70's to maintain muscle mass and bone density. They work by forcing the body into an invlountary stretch refex.
However, there is hardly any training available when you purchase one for a gym, and they therefore stand in the corner, or people just stand / sit on them.
OP, there are two types; 1 vibrates up and down vertically (this is the one to go for) and the other is like a see saw wobbling from side to side (this will just destroy your hips)
Most online stores offer a money back 28 day deal.
