This has probably been asked before and is maybe a silly question. With the introdution of Digital RTE coming in November. Will my technomate pick up RTE etc or will I have to upgrade.

No as its a sateliite receiver and RTE is not available FTA on satellite.

Pizzahead I know that at the moment its not fta but I was wondering what happens when it goes digital in November will the receiver pick it up or am I looking at a new one.

you will not pick it up with your receiver

In order to get digital terrestrial and satellite at the same time you will need one of them combo boxes , i.e. Techomate 6900

However it would be prudent to wait for it to go officially live before you purchase anything. You will have a better understanding what is required and what your choices are.
