What's next after 5x5?

I'm after completing 6 weeks for starting strenght 5x5. I failed on the squat at 112.5kg. My shoulder press failed at 57.5kg. At this point my bench press was at 85kg, deadlift was at 120kg, and barbell row was at 67.5kg.

So what do I do next? Do I go back to my old routine and include all the strong lifts, or do I take a break from them and take them out of my old rotine and use different exercises?

What do you want to happen next? What do you want to improve?

starting strenght is NOT 5x5, it's 5x3 (reps x sets) and does not include bent over rows. Have a look over here, you may find it helpful.

If you like the 5x5 just change the main exercises, as an example change squat to front squat, deadlift to snatch grip or sumo and bench to close grip bench. keep the reps and sets the same as the 5x5.

Starting working towards 3x5 instead, you should be able to get another week or two that way. When that fails go to one top set of 5 (ie the most weight you can use for one all out set of 5). If you take 2.5kg jumps per week using the above you should get another month out of it.

After that, knock off 20%, build back up the weight using 5x5 again or start doing 3x8 or something.
