A builder friend approached me and asked if he could sell his house without going thru an auctioneer?

I looked up daft.ie and found u can sell ur house there for 195, this seems good but are there any other options?

An auctioneer is asking for 1.5% so on a house worth 500K thats 7500 euro!!! As opposed to selling it on a website for 195 euro... crazy.

Anyway, I also looked up myhome.ie but couldn't find out if it could be done there. oohhh, perhaps adverts.ie can sell a house? :) typically not the first place I'd look to buy a house, but it could be the future...

There's a little more to selling a house than putting an advert on Daft.ie
