Which Sim and plan for data some voice

    We arrive on Sat with our daughter to set here up at Trinity. I have the choice of an unlocked Blackberry Pearl 8100 or Samsung Blackjack unlocked. The Samsung has MS Active Sync, I need to stay in touch with my office but would rather not pay the outlandish US roaming fees, what carrier would you recommend I get a SIM chip from and what plan to cover data and voice I will neet to keep in touch. I prefer to not use the Blackberry to avoid RIM server fees. We will be traveling throughout Ireland for 10 days. We are coming from San Francisco, thanks in advance
