Hope its ok to post this in the main forum. I'll only use this thread for discussion up to kick off, keeping track of who paid and updating results/leaderboard once its begun. As each event kicks off, i'll create a thread in the Online sub-forum where people can discuss any aspects on that particular tournament including hands, passwords, slagging etc. Can you unsticky and lock the other thread and sticky this please if you dont mind. It's time to get the BCOOP on the road again. See below the schedule for the upcoming championships. All games are to played on Pokerstars and they will start at 8.30pm Irish time running every Tuesday and Thursday over 5 consecutive weeks.
Event 1 – Tuesday 23rd September - Pot Limit Hold Em $10+1
Event 2 – Thursday 25th September - Limit Stud Hi/Lo $10+1
Event 3 – Tuesday 30th September - Limit Hold Em $10+1
Event 4 – Thursday 2nd October - Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo $10+1
Event 5 – Tuesday 7th October - Limit Stud Hi $10+1
Event 6a – Thursday 9th October - Limit Razz $10+1
Event 6b - Thursday 9th October - "All-in every hand" No limit Omaha Hi/Lo $5+50 x 2*
Event 7a – Tuesday 14th October - Heads Up No Limit Hold Em $10+1
Event 7b - Tuesday 14th October - Heads Up Pot Limit Omaha $10+1
Event 8 – Thursday 16th October - HORSE $10+1
Event 9 – Tuesday 21st October - Pot Limit Omaha $10+1
Event 10 – Thursday 23rd October - No Limit Hold Em $20+1
Bonus Event – Thursday 23rd October – Bops Bounty No Limit Hold Em $100+9**
For the Championships, there's 11 tournaments in total (not including Blind Omaha). You will get 2 points for every event you play in, and of these 11 tournaments, only your best 8 results will be counted towards the final tally to push push you up the overall leaderboard, so even if you cant make every game, you still have a good chance to claim top spot.
Your result in the Blind Omaha will not count towards your top 8 finishes. Points for this will be awarded as 5 for 1st, 3 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd. You also wont get your 2 points for playing these. These are more for fun and will run at 8.35 and 8.40 on the specified date. Rules are that you MUST go allin every hand no matter what your holding. This will continue until there's only 1 player left. Failure to go allin every hand, for whatever reason will result in disqualification.
The Main Event MUST count towards the top 8 results…If you play 10 events but fail to play the Main Event, only your top 7 results will count and you will score 0 for the Main Event.
Points for all tournaments will be awarded as follows
9th – 2 pts
8th – 3 pts
7th – 4pts
6th – 6pts
5th – 8 pts
4th – 10 pts
3rd – 13 pts
2nd – 16 pts
1st – 20pts
The only exception is the Heads Up games. These will be scored slightly different and will be as follows.
Winner = 20
R/Up = 16
Semi = 10
Q/F = 3
>= 9th = 0 pts
In order to qualify for the overall title, you must ship $20 to my Pokerstars account (FlushdrawIRE). Every person that ships the $20 before the start of the series will be including in the overall competition. All money collected will go into the prize pool, where the overall winner receives 75% of the money with the Runner Up getting 20%.
I'll also put a $5 bounty on Ianmc38s head for every tournament he plays. The player who knocks out Ianmc will need to perform a simple boards based challenge to earn his $5
Havent thought what it will be yet but just something for a little fun and ease the mood of boards which has been a bit tense of late!
Not sure if i've covered everything because i rambled a bit, but if anyone needs any questions answered or has any thoughts, just bang them in here. Also post here with your Pokerstars sn when you ship the $20 and i'll confirm once i receive it and update the list.

Thats 16 people registered now so atm we have a $320 prizepool. I'm sure there will be a couple of others reg/d before this kicks off tomorrow so i'll break the prizepool down 75%/25% for 1st and 2nd.
There's 2 or 3 people on the list that i've forgotten to send the passwords too and because i'm in work til 11 and dont have access to my pc, i don't know who they are.
Gillcarr1972 is going to forward on the passwords for all the events to everyone on the list to make sure each person gets a copy.
If people dont want to contribute to the prizepool, they can still play any number of events they wish. Just PM myself or Gill for the passwords of whichever event you want to play and one of us will pass it on to you.
The deadline for the overall competition is 8.30pm tomorrow night (Tuesday). Good luck
