Im looking to do some extra courses but I am finding it hard to find some.

I am looking for part time courses and maybe seminars in Ireland or the UK in the following

    Olympic lifts
    Strength and conditioning
    Nutrition

    Cheers in advance

http://setantacollege.com/ They have a course that starts in a couple of weeks and covers resistance training and weight lifting for sports, you also get the iawla / nctc level 1 olympic weightlifting coaching cert. EDIT: as well as the strength and conditioning cert

I rang about places and the deadline is Monday so give them a call asap! I enquired about it but might hold out just yet. its internet study with some weekend seminars also.

Not really sure about nutrition courses part time, the ntc do an exercise and nutrition course but its a masters degree awarded by chester university, id imagine it would be a huge commitment and quite costly. again home study combined with weekend seminars / tutorials. http://www.ntc.ie/index_nutrition.php
They also do injury managment courses(neuromuscular therapy) and fitness&pilates courses. http://www.ntc.ie/

Also you have www.ncefinfo.com which do health and fitness courses, also if you are a fitness instructor they have specialised courses in childrens fitness, team sport fitness, personal training etc.

Hope you find something you like!

try www.uksca.org.uk, and look under education, they run Weight Lifting Workshops, Plyometric, agility, speed workshops, and Improving Sports Performance through Strength and Conditioning workshops.

    Good quality, very practical, recommended.
