    Hi everyone,

This might not seem like a PI, but it is for me. I am female & have quite long, visible nose hair. I know people can see it. I've tried to pluck them but they're very coarse & it brings tears to my eyes cause it's sooo sore.

Any tips/ideas? No nose hair jokes please......

Buy a beard trimmer set, they always have different add ones and will more than likely have one for the aul nose. Just stick it up there and it'll give them the chop.

Exactly, if you wax your legs you shouldnt have to ask about trimming a few hairs, you do wax your legs don't you . Everybody has them they are just thicker and longer in some people.

I have the same problem (although Im a man, and they aren't really that noticeable, but annoying, nonetheless).

My brother used to have a little contraption he bought in a pharmacy before. Its sepcifically made just for getting rid of nose hair. It worked great, apparently.

I've been looking for one and no luck. Couldn't even find one on eBay. Apparently Lidl and Aldi used to have a shaving accessory pack kinda thing. It was a box filled with crap that just breaks when you look at it, but it had the nose hair remover in it, so it was worth buying for that. I don't know if they still have them though. I'm rarely in Aldi/Lidl etc. and when i am i never think to look.

I tried scissors before, but stopped after about two seconds when i realised the potential danger i was putting my nose in. I would also be at the back of the queue of people who want to shove a razor up their nose.

OP I wouldn't advise you to do this, it does say on the packaging that it is for external use only, i.e. on skin. The nasal membrane might be a bit too sensitive for the burny chemicals!

try buycosmetics.com I got a little trimmer there not so long ago, shaped like a pen, really small and handy.

If you leave snots in long enough to go hard and then pull quickly you should get a good few hairs with it--killing 2 birds with the one stone:p

I like to rip them out of my nose.. Seriously. I have no trimmer here and mine are very long so I grab a load of them and rip them out. I quite enjoy it actually :D

hawkwing, please behave yourself. If you have nothing useful to add, then please add nothing further. I won't ask quite so politely next time.

if your are really stuck, the pop up timmer in a mans razor, will do it.. hold it up to your nose..(firmly) , might give you a bit of buzz.. but it dosent hurt (no really it dosent.. feels a bit funny, but no pain)

    But really , puck em..,

Ps.. will look forward to the "I found a girl trimming her nose hair with my electric razor - does this mean she fancys me", thread

Apparently some women in the states wax their nose hairs. I don't know anyone who does that, painful I'd think. I'd just trim them down with scissors.

Was in a Barbers in Turkey few years back and the guys stuff a lighter up your nose for like a second and supposedly does the trick.

    DISCLAIMER

Boards.ie takes absolutely NO responsibility for any injuries suffered if anyone is stupid enough to shove a lighter up their nose, either lit or unlit.

Sweet Jebus, who the hell would allow such a thing to be done to them?
