should carbs be dropped or reduced from a post workout drink after a weights session if the person is also trying to reduce body fat?

im just wondering if it would impair recovery and defeat the purpose of the session

I'm off the opinion that this is the most important time to get carbs into you i you're on a fat loss approach in order to allow you to recover adequately. Reduce the amount yes if you feel the need but definietely don't drop them. I just use to eat half a banana, some creatine and take 1-2 scoops of protein

Ideally if you're looking to lose fat in the most effecient manner possible you'd keep carbs to breakfast and post training with protein, and the rest of the meals as protein and fat. But that being said, unless you're like 8% already it's probably not gonna matter. And if you are 8% then you wouldn't be asking the question...

How heavy are you, and at what height?? If you're average height and around 65-75kg hten chances are you jsut need some more muscle on your frame to look leaner and not necessarily less fat.

When you mention post-training carbs here to you mean like w/meal pasta etc or would stir fryed veg or mixed salad suffice?
