Wyre Piddle in the UK and they even have a brewery that is "famous" for its Piddle In The Hole Ale. And North Piddle is well, North of Wyre Piddle like you'd expect? However I don't think the River Piddle is anywhere near either of them which is supprising  Piddletown is no longer on the River Piddle as it is said to have been renamed Puddletown to save embarasing Queen Victoria when she visited. I believe other Piddles were also renamed to Puddles for similar reasons.

Regarding some of the towns previously mentioned I had heard they spend a fortune on replaceing their town signs and have to go to extreme measures to secure them due to theft by tourists ;). Perhaps the phrase "those fcuking cnuts have stolen the fcuking sign again" looses its humour in transtlation if you live in fcuking in Austria.

And I nearly forgot I used to live near to Crapstone (UK again)

As an English name, 'Pass if You Can' in northwest Dublin near Léim an Bhradáin (Leixlip) sounds pretty cool in my book:

PS: Logainm.ie is easily the best placenames website around. It will be even better in a few years when the Placenames Commission has done more work on placenames.
