no offence taken! I really wanted to move out i didn't think i'd get communication and i'd be moving out to maynooth but i got lucky I'm gona try get a place but I'm gona save my money for the moment sure I've a good few friends moving out i can crash there!

Welcome first years! I'm not one of you, I'm an all growed up 4th year but just a note to my new fellow CA people (EC guys too!) to not be afraid to corner us and ask for advice n stuff if you see us around the school when you start, some people will ignore you or tell you to fupp off but theres plenty of nice friendly people that will be happy to help you too

A good Idea for you guys that mentioned that you're not moving out of home (like me) is to make friends with people that have moved out into places around college that like to have parties and like inviting you to stay over. Get all the benefits of a college pad while still having mammy's dinner to go home to when you want it

Thats what i plan on doing for 1st year anyway! I have a few friends in maynooth moving out but need some dcu independent buddies as of yet all the people i know going live beisde it! Poor them :P:P

Yea finding it a bit difficult but manly cause ive had no time whatsoever to look(I was doing sound engineering till yesterday). Found a load o possible places today though so hopefully i wont be living on the streets!!!

Yup should be good, Its got a lot to live up to in my mind though after a year of college life in U.L. With peoples talk here though it seems that it could easily out do it, im not even in dublin yet and already the talk of drink has started haha.
